We are only three days from the one year mark since the fire if you can believe that! As that milestone approaches we are finding it harder to wait and feel spirit filled! I thought I would take these next few weeks as we trust the Lord to focus on others instead of my own frustrations in the remodel process...........SO, I thought I would ask y'all:
1) What are you waiting on the Lord for? How can I pray for you in that?
2) How can I lift you up in prayer over the next few weeks?
3) What praises can I celebrate with you and thank God for?

We had a terrible house fire last night. Thankful to be alive and for all my loved ones to be alive too.
Everything else can be replaced, but it will be a long haul.
Thank you to everyone that has reached out and prayed with us and met our needs. God is good and we trust in Him.

We have missed posting videos and missed "normal life". We wanted to give you an update as to why we haven't been posting......
Zeke and I talked about it last night and he is ready to share about what we have been going through since the end of August. Whew, we have been through it!
In late August Zeke had mild back pain that increasingly got worse. An X-ray revealed a small spinal fracture initially. He pushed through the pain and continued to work full time and go to college. As time passed the pain became debilitating.
He had to move back home and stop working and stop going to college. We have had a stay in the hospital, an ambulance ride to the ER, and for the last 8 weeks he has been on complete bed rest due to the pain.
We have been working with a neurosurgeon and have had multiple MRIs and Cat Scans. Recently those revealed some findings that led us to have a biopsy done last week. Cancer was a concern as his pain was so debilitating and did not make sense with the fracture. He was getting worse, not healing.
Results came in this week. No cancer, praise the Lord, but it is Acute discitis. Infectious disease was called and they ordered more biopsies that we will have done in the morning. He will need 6-8 weeks of IV antibiotics after the biopsy tomorrow.
Our hope and prayer is that after his infection is treated he will be able to walk and move around again. He can walk for very short distances, but relies on a wheelchair on the rare occasion he is up to sitting up. If y’all know how active and healthy my boy is you know this has been such a hard and emotional road for him and all of us that love him.
Pray with us. Pray that God would be glorified in this trial. Pray for complete healing of Ezekiel’s body and that he will have full function of his legs again.
