Hii, I hope everyone had a spooky halloween. I’ve decided to come back to YouTube finally, a lot has changed. However My new videos are based on a different niche. I made a new channel called mystic reptiles so I will be uploading on there from now on, I may still use the channel Delagrande for travel videos in the future but for now mystic reptiles is my main channel.
I’d really appreciate your support on my new channel 💜

I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be streaming the new all-audio action-adventure game The Vale: Shadow of the Crown
Over on my twitch tonight! This is the first all audio only game and I know This is an unexpected stream but the game just came out today and I just had to try it out. A game accessible for all wow!
The beautiful people over at falling squirrel were kind enough to send me a game code to play and give my feedback!
This game uses Haptic controller feedback, binaural audio technology, and professional cinematic voice acting guides players through real-time combat, exploration, quests, and cut scenes, making this a gaming experience that is accessible to visually impaired and sighted players alike.
So head on down to my twitch at delagrandeofficial and come listen along with me!

I want to make a difference this year, I’d like to take part in a challenge where fundraising is involved. If you know Of any I can do please say below but keep in mind I am severely blind 💙

As most of you know I’m losing my vision to the disease macular dystrophy which causes my vision to deteriorate from the
Centre outwards however I’ve had a hard time accepting I’m going blind since eleven now and only recently started to use accessibility instead of struggling to use technology and a white cane to try get used to the navigation for when it’s gets harder to do it alone.
But I never used to talk about it or ask for help so people wouldn’t treat me different or think I was ‘weird’ for having a invisible disability and ‘not looking blind’ in the process.
However I’m now severely blind and I’ve been trying to be more open about it the past year and a half and it’s such a weight off my shoulders. I’ve made friends who relate with vision loss online , I’ve helped others come to terms with sight loss too, young or old and friends who read stuff out to me or help me automatically with things.
I’ve had so much support along the way and I’m so grateful.
But I wanted to share how amazing the people I’m surrounded by really are. This is probably one of the most precious meaningful things that anyone has ever done for me. My best friend Laura and her mum have surprised me with a gift today that they have sponsored a gorgeous little German shepherd guide dog in training called Lily in my name. Who I immediately fell in love with!
She is adorable and I can’t wait to track her progress as she grows in to the amazing guide dog she’ll be. I may even consider calling up to see if she can train to be my guide dog in the future.
But honestly that warmed my heart thank you so much, lots of love ❤️
image Description: A guide dog puppy sponsor album lays on a bed with two pictures of guide dog in training lily. A black and brown German shepherd. She sits cute with a tilted head in one picture and in the other she is running in a field.

Hi my name is Demi, i'm severally blind (Macular Dystrophy). Even though i'm blind i do a lot of things. I love to travel and experience new things. I also have hobbies that i hope to turn into my job one day such as photography, gaming, Activism for a accessible future, editing and of course making videos for you guys.
On my channel, I share my life through my eyes so you can see the challenges and experiences i go through as a blind person but i also make videos to help educate people about blindness and most important i want to show people that the blind community are not a stereotype.
