Kpop Corn just uploaded a great video about how creators who make compilation videos are getting demonetized one by one. Although I've never used the monetization option myself, there's a chance that YouTube is going to take other steps conserning copyright issues and possibly end up removing kpop compilation videos from YouTube.
Although I understand their motives, which are reasonable, it still saddens me so much to imagine YouTube without kpop compilations. It was thanks to such silly fanmade videos that got me hooked on kpop and helped me learn about the groups I now love and support.
In case the videos on my channel get removed, I won't run to the barricades, but I'd definitely be super sad to lose all the awesome comments you've sent :( If creators start uploading their videos somewhere else, I'll consider doing the same (not promising anything though).
I've (un)officially moved from hypefestival to do other stuff (well not really, I'm still trash, I'm just much more multi now aka probably even trashier than I used to be lolol help) but I want to thank each one of you who has watched even one of my videos. Making them was time consuming and more than once it made me want to throw my computer out of the window.
But all in all you can't even believe how much joy it brought to me, so, thank you for watching my fine quality art!! 💕 Thank you
