The Guardian Girls is a gender-based violence prevention program created by the Koyamada International Foundation (KIF) in November 2019.
In December 2019, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) officially joined KIF to strategically expand the program through the United Nations network globally.
In October 2022, World Karate Federation (WKF) joined KIF and UNFPA to jointly launch a new partnership project Guardian Girls Global Karate Project ("Guardian Girls Karate") as part of the Guardian Girls program.
