At the start of the new year I would like to look back on all the games I beat last year....all mainly pokemon games, but still! Anyway, best game I beat and played of last year that I had never played before had to go to The Outer Worlds. I had a blast with that game and I am really looking forward to The Outer Worlds 2.
I know it did not click with a lot of people, and many found it boring but it was my jam. From writing, to gameplay, to the exploration. Also the DLC was fantastic as well.

Best Pokemon Game(that I beat in 2024) White 2 tops this list easily, I was shocked by how much I legitimately enjoyed that one.
Worse Pokemon Game of 2024. Pokemon Ultra Sun...I am sorry I just could not; the game is such a slog. Shame too cause I love the atmosphere and some of the new region exclusives.
Best Game I replayed in 2024 - Toss up between Horizon Zero Dawn, or Paper Mario TTYD Remake. Both are legitimately phenomenal games in my opinion. I adore replaying them and I have beaten them more than once at this point. TTYD Remake is a fantastic remake and it plays amazingly on switch, been awhile since I played it and I forgot how damn good it is. Praying for a remake of the original Paper Mario or Super now though.
Best Game I am still playing through - Toss Up between God of War 2018, or Last of US atm. I will get back to you all when I beat them. However, So far both are fantastic and extremely engaging.
For last of Us I thought having seen playthroughs/streams of the game and watching the TV show would hurt the engagement somewhat, but it has not hampered my enjoyment at all. If nothing else that is just a testament to how good the story actually is though.
Worst Game I am still playing through - Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Now I am still enjoying the game, however nothing really is hitting me as anything more than "This is fun enough". The gameplay (I'm a mage) is fun, the story and characters are fun but so far nothing incredible, and the world is again fun but nothing to write home about so far.
I am about halfway though, I will beat it but I am just slowly making my way through it. I think playing GoW and Last of Us, around the same time is hampering my potential enjoyment of the game. I have beaten and loved origins, but the other DA games I just have not gotten hooked too. Anyway not a bad game at all, but I would definitely advise against this game at full price, wait til its like 40 or so.

So I played The Last of US on PC for a couple hours to see if I would be able to stream it for ya'll. Good news, it passed the motion sickness test! It does not make me sick YAY!

Sorry about the MIA, I was just not in the mood to do anything recently so decided to just step away from my channel for a Holiday break. I feel a lot better now, especially since it has given me some time to plan some exciting new stuff for next year. Like my second original song! Anyway I have one more cover coming out this year, this weekend is what I'm aiming for.

Next Saturday we are going to FINALLY go back to streaming, but gonna take it relaxing. Not sure what we'll play I was thinking Wind Waker as I adore that game and its rather short. Though, I would also like to rank all the zelda games...though I don 't think I'm popular enough to do so. Eh, perhaps Balatro or stream Infinity Nikki? I'll figure it out.

Okay wow Ori and the Will of the wisps soundtrack is incredible in my opinion. Some might think a lot of tracks are understated; but they are really beautiful composed. So, ya really enjoyed that soundtrack a lot.
Ha, funny enough really reminded me of Journeys soundtrack in the instrumentation sometimes, which is one of my favorite video game soundtracks of all time so not a bad thing.

Listening to video game soundtracks during work to keep myself sane. Anyway just listened to the entire soundtrack for Gris and I really liked it. Its been on my steam wishlist for a couple years now but never bought it… Hmm, well it is on sale for real cheap a lot I might finally get around too it with winter break starting tomorrow,
I’ll finally have time. Hope it’s good, though big fan of art house games/walking sims, though I know Gris is more of the former than the latter.

Okay, I gotta get my final project for my semester done. I keep delaying streaming, but I just can't commit to it this weekend. So, I will be getting my new cover up this Wednesday and special Thanksgiving day stream to try and make up for the delay.
I thank you guys for staying with me and I am really sorry about kinda being MIA for the last month, with the end of the semester, being sick, and work I have just not been able to make anything work. We will relax with a nice 3-4 hour stream of thanksgiving and a new cover and get back into the groove, whatcha say.
