The Dee Dee Jackson Foundation (DDJF) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit that shines a light on loss and grief and how it impacts our lives in negative ways, especially for children. We are here to provide hope, resources and a community so no child feels alone in their grief. We are turning grief into action. We have taken a hands-on approach to develop music therapy programs for vulnerable young people. Over 6 weeks, children, program staff with a music therapist work collaboratively to compose and record original songs as a tool to help cope with grief and loss. This creative process allows the children a safe place to express their story of loss and to find hope. Our Music Heals Music Therapy programs are offered at no charge and are 100% funded by contributions. Community awareness and support help children heal from loss and excel in life. Help a child suffering from loss and grief today by donating here: www.ddjf.org. Thank you for helping us make a difference in a child's life.
