This channel contains videos which demonstrate the roles of various caregivers involved in a hospital environment to know, what are sources of infection in their surroundings, how they infect others including their colleagues and patient in the hospital and various ways to break the chain of infection.
The videos in this channel are based on best practices recommended by international disease control agencies like CDC (Centre for disease control and prevention) and IDSA (Infectious disease society of America).
Common HAIs include bloodstream infections (CLABSI), urinary tract infections (CAUTI), surgical site infections(SSI), pneumonia(VAP), etc. These clinical scenarios are discussed in greater detail in the videos of the channel.
