A year and a half ago in November 2021 following major trackworks between Epsom and Goornong we saw a couple of days of bedding in trains ran by QUBE with VL356 and VL360 on the 26th and X31 and G532 on the 27th.
With the current lot of works on the line north of Goornong, one wonders if we'll see a repeat this year.

With the scrapping of the former Freight Australia 100 tonne grain hoppers now underway at Hamilton, here's a look back at their last movement on the rail network, when in September 2020 all but two of the remaining fleet was moved from Hopetoun to Murtoa as 9788 hauled by 8134. The following day saw them continue on to Hamilton where they remained until the current day with them being lifted from their bogies and trucked away.

Six years ago this month finally saw the end of the VPCX cement hoppers that had spent the previous ten years stored in the former wash-dock sidings at the North Bendigo Workshops, with the wagons being dragged into the workshops compound and taken apart by claw.
This video taken over three days shows the progress made with shredding the wagons as well as resident rail tractor RT37 shunting a couple of SSR's then newly acquired VHGF grain hoppers.

It may seem strange to think, but tomorrow marks ten years since QUBE (then known as POTA) operated their first train on Broad Gauge, that being 9072 with B76 and B80.

So I'm just finalising the editing of the July to December 2020 review, and it comes in with nearly 100 clips and close to three hours in length.
Keep an eye out for it in early March.

Hey everyone, I'm currently minus a computer so I won't be uploading anything until probably mid-late next week. Whenever I get it back I'll be probably doing daily uploads to clear the backlog, with the first one being yesterday's 0079/0082 moves. Beyond that, it depends on what I go out and get!

Most videos on this channel are filmed locally in the Bendigo area, with the North-East around Kilmore East to Seymour also featuring regularly, as well as the Western Line when I get over that that way. I don't have a set upload schedule, it's just whenever I get out for something.
