Stop lurking. Those are my plans. Making animations is my dream, but it feels like if I fully commit to it, I would be part of the content slop machine. My mood since 2022 has been "Give up, why even bother". Making cartoons is something on my mind 24/7. Sometimes I think, without it I would have nothing. I encourage all of you to engage in other people's creations. If you like something someone made, show your apprecation by engaging in it some way. Comment, like, share whatever you can. Independent creativity is experiencing a huge slump as of lately. "Creative" platforms are developing algorithms/AI that are stifling the creative ecosystem. It has been this way for a few years now, but it seems to be getting even worse. It's been a losing battle as corporations bully us into consuming short form slop. I am someone who would always lurk, but I am changing how I consume art. Community support for smaller artists seems to be dwindling. In my opinion, it seems that people don't value art as much as they used to. Mostly based on how disposable my "content" feels sometimes. This correlates with the trend of every major platform shilling their AI driven short form content. I would appreciate it if you would support artists you like any way you can. Thanks.

Ran an experiment. Made a YouTube Shorts animation. The response from the animation was way better than expected. I may dedicate more of my time to making YouTube Shorts. I fear about retaining the small community of friends and viewers I have made, and them being replaced by less engaged viewers. What do you guys think? I will take some of this into consideration for my next projects. Thanks!
