I am on a journey to get healthy. For my whole life, doctors dismissed my symptoms of muscle weakness and frequent falls and never would look into it. When I was almost 47 when I found out that I have Spinal Muscular Atrophy 3. SMA is a genetic disease that causes muscle wasting. I now am choosing a ketogenic lifestyle to help lose excess weight, visceral fat, and see if I can rebuild some muscle.
