I’ll be completely honest … I have one last video to post. It was an overnight in Montreat - one week before Hurricane Helene destroyed the area. Knowing that the entire area is suffering due to the irreparable damage … I just can’t bring myself to post the video yet.
If you’d like to help … there’s numerous organizations taking supplies and donations. Please consider giving - a lot of people lost a lot in this storm and some people lost loved ones.

We’ve been without power since Friday … but the worst extent is in WNC … trail towns like Hot Springs, Erwin, Damascus are devastated. Small towns like Marshall, Black Mountain, and Chimney Rock are destroyed! There’s several months or more of recovery.
My last video to post was taken a week before the storm hit … overlooking the valleys encompassing Black Mountain & Swannanoa … these communities are destroyed. I’m heartbroken and really struggling to comprehend what has happened. Please keep these people in your hearts & prayers!

Unfortunately, my computer glitched and lost all of my editing work from the past week. I'm trying to recover it - but there's probably going to be a delay in getting stuff released over the next couple of weeks.

Been out adventuring and haven't found time between that and work to video edit. So, probably no new videos this week. But coming out soon ... Mount Yonah day hike, Lake Lure paddle boarding, and an Appalachian Trail section hike (Carvers Gap to Erwin) with mom. As always ... your patience is much appreciated!

Unfortunately ... the next video I'd planned to edit is lost due to a corrupted sd card. It was our second paddle board trip on Lake Jocassee. So, I'll post the short TikTok video I did for it ... to at least show some glimpses of our day in the sun! Currently working on my last day hike - Yonah Mountain. Hopefully, once the weather starts cooling down I'll be able to do more adventuring! Happy trails!
