Now that Heart of Darkness is firmly behind us ✅
It's time to start a brand new playthrough, sticking with the retro theme, we are heading over to Olympus to check out a prequel story with my man Kratos.
Never before have I witnessed or played God of War: Ascension, so this is going to be my first time ever playing it!
No doubt we are about to witness some God vs God carnage, puzzles and some brutal storylines.

A platformer from the PS1 (1998) that still holds it's incompletion over me.

Seasons greetings Sonic Fans!!
I'm having a great time enjoying the festive period and spent part of the weekend checking out the new Sonic 3 Movie.
Whilst I don't have the time currently to put together a full movie review, I thought i would share some spoiler-free thoughts with you in case you are debating what to watch at the movies this weekend.
Sonic, Tails and Knuckles return in this all out guns blazing adventure, introducing Shadow for the first time in the franchise - voiced by Keanu Reeves. It's a great homage to Shadow as a character, we learn all about the origins and why he is hell bent on revenge throughout the movie.
There are some seriously funny moments alongside a double helping of Jim Carey (double because, well, watch the movie and you will see 🤣). It ticks all the nostalgia boxes with sounds included from the games and top tier animations and cinematography.
It's beautifully put together with colours popping everywhere and the main theme being revenge, love and doing the right thing. There are some genuine feel good moments and you even have sympathy for the main villains at stages too. It's written really well and sticks fairly close to the lore of the Games but gives it's own spins here and there.
The movie is essentially about Shadow, but ties in to certain topics that impact all the main characters in some way throughout the story. They all get the spotlight and their own moments that make the team feeling come out strong by the end.
They did a great job in dialling back on the humans and focusing more on the heroes in this one Vs what we saw in the second movie. We get a few throwback moments, breaking the fourth wall and Jim Carey just tearing up the screen with his comedy presence.
Without spoiling anything this is my favourite movie out of all three Sonic movies. Everything feels complete here and they are firing on all cylinders by the end and each of our heroes have unique moments and intrigue that ties in to the overall plot of the movie.
Go and see this over Mufasa, which is a bit of a flop 😭😭
We had a great time from start to finish and the pacing is excellent, starting strong with a shadow intro scene where he comes out all badass-like 😎
A strong 9/10 from us!! 👍🏻👍🏻

This could well be the final livestream of the year...maybe, possibly...time will tell 🤣
