California based songwriter/rapper Nieve (pronounced “naive”), has been sharing his smooth, poetic rap flows since his first album “Away With Words” released in 2007, produced by Cook Classics. The album included such hits as “Chronic Intoxication” and “Another Day Comes”. Nieve would eventually link up with talented New-Zealand producer SoulChef to embark on a journey of boombap, golden era, 90s inspired hiphop, blending soulful samples to create the perfect canvas for Nieve to lace his hypnotically smooth rap flow. Vivid, melodic, catchy songs- the team of Nieve and SoulChef would create such classic albums as “Playback” (2010) and “Sunflower in the Sunlight” (2016) with songs that include: “Doin That Today”, and “Write This Down” - which have since reached millions of streams and enjoyed a resurgence thanks to a remix of “Write This Down x Dead Wrong by Biggie”

In 2022, Nieve continues to perfect his craft and is set to release new music soon.
