It was great to head to Wrexham last weekend with the North West Vehicle Restoration Trust and their smartly preserved Arriva Merseyside Volvo B7TL 4127. It attended The Chester & Wrexham Charity Heritage Bus Running Day with all proceeds going to Nightingale House Hospice. A good day by all accounts.

This Arriva Merseyside Volvo B7TL with Alexander ALX400 bodywork was photographed yesterday on Clifton Crescent in Birkenhead. At an impressive 18 years old, it is one of only three of this type still in the fleet. This example is registered CX06 EBD with the fleet number 4123. The photograph was taken as the bus was about to begin the 492 Noctorum Circular route.
