Kind of a weird and random question for other kind of small composers in the msm community like me, do you get comments telling you that "you’re the next JakeTheDrake" or "this reminds me of JakeTheDrake" or something like that? Not that I don’t appreciate these comments or find them annoying or something like that ofc, I just find it interesting because I feel like I get at least one comment like that on everything I post. And I feel like it wouldn’t just be a me thing. It’s entirely possible though as most of my style (and the whole reason I started doing this really) was inspired by him. Back when I was first posting stuff though I would just completely plagiarize stuff he did on his covers though 😭 that shits really embarrassing. I’m actually gonna take down most of those old covers now that I think about it lmao. But yeah just wanted to ask you guys that.
