Been a while since I provided an update, just been having a lot of financial troubles recently, and when I finally managed to get a summer job that I liked I got into a car accident and busted my tibial plateau into a bunch of pieces and will have to stay home healing from that for the foreseeable future. I can't make any promises but maybe if I'm lucky I'll be able to use some of the time spent healing to sit down and finally bang out a new video 😅 😭 thanks for always being patient with me on that front, adulting is hard.
in the meantime if anyone knows any good work from home job options in Canada that have any open positions feel free to gimme a holler lol

The One Piece live action was so good I'm pretty sure Oda has some sort of magic power where everything he touches is just simply amazing.
Also the animation in the most recent episode was mind boggling, it's like the animators didn't want to be overshadowed by the live action so they actually sold their souls to the devil to make this episode the most insane thing on the planet
If I didn't have classes starting while I'm looking for a job I'd be making something, somehow, to commemorate this stuff, but it'll have to wait for now 😭

Quick update on what's been happening with me and why I haven't done or said much lately:
I moved recently, got dragged along on a 2 week family trip to Florida not long after, had to quit my job, got a summer job with 12 hour days 6 days a week, I'm finally graduating this year, and I have to get another job now that my summer job is over. So, that's why I haven't been able to do much recently 🥲, just too busy atm.
With the One Piece live action coming out today, I can't promise I'll be making any amvs for it any time soon, but I definitely want to make one at some point if it turns out to be good. But I don't have a lot of free time currently, so it'll likely have to wait for now. But I'm excited and cautiously optimistic for the live action series!

Yet another update: Still not dead, just still have a lot of stuff going on in my life. Feels like every time we finally get over the last thing that happened something new pops up. My mom got sandwiched in a 3 car accident on the highway and totaled her van (she wasn't badly injured thankfully), one of my aunts broke her leg and we've been having to drive several hours to Calgary and back periodically to visit and assist her with stuff. And there's other stuff on top of that but I'm sure you get the idea 😓. I'm also trying to find a job cause I'm broke and covid lost me my last one. My limited availability due to uni isn't helping with that unfortunately (I have a Kofi btw at ko-fi.com/infriga btw which I'll plug shamelessly if anyone's interested 😉).
There's other stuff on top of it but it's too complicated/personal to explain in a YouTube community post thingy. So yeah, I've just been a bit too stressed and distracted to do a whole lot of video editing or other creative works on top of that. Not trying to tell a woe is me story or anything, just explaining what's going on so people don't start to think I've vanished or anything. I know you guys are always supportive and understanding about this sort of stuff which I greatly appreciate.
I do have amvs I've been very slowly working on and/or planning when I do manage to find the time and energy, one is the One Piece one I've mentioned before that's taking me forever, partially because of life being what it is, and also partially because it's about the Yonkou (especially Big Mom and Kaido), and well, there are lots of cool scenes in the Wano arc that keep tempting me to wait until they're animated so I can use them 👉👈. Another video I want to do is a Detroit Become Human gmv because I got into DBH recently and I had an idea that's been niggling at my brain. But I want to use the pc version of the game to get my own hd subless footage, and I only own it on playstation plus (which I had to cancel for the time being anyway while I'm broke). Meaning I'll need to wait until I can afford to buy the pc version.
I'm hoping once I get a job and/or my next student loan I can at least work a bit more on the DBH video while the inspiration is still relatively fresh and spicy in my brain. One Piece is always difficult to edit for because of the sheer number of episodes to sift through (I may have more scenes to work with and choose from, but because I like to make videos about particular topics and themes, and use specific scenes to work with specific parts of the music, the amount of footage I have to sort through makes it harder and more time consuming to find what I'm looking for. That's usually part of the fun but it can still slow things down more than other series), but hopefully 2022 is a bit less hectic than the last 2 years have been for me and I can finally make some headway with that as well. Anyway, happy new years! Thanks for your patience, and I promise I'm not dead!

Just another update: still not dead! Covid has caused a lot of difficulties of course, and more recently I had to have one of my dogs put down unfortunately which has certainly affected my mood, but I haven't quit making videos or anything like that. Life has just taken up a lot of my time and energy, plus I can only focus on so many outlets/projects/etc at a given time (I'm also an artist and a writer, and unfortunately I can't do all 3 things at the same time much as I wish I could). I'm still working on my next video, slow going but getting there. Thought I'd provide some info on that front since it's been a while.

Update: Friendly reminder that I am not dead. I'm just currently in the middle of end of term stuff like 3 finals and 2 or 3 assignments due in the next week or two, plus I'm writing the last part of a 70k+ writing project. So, once I'm finished those I can finally work on my next amv since the scenes I want should mostly be aired by then! Thanks for your patience lol.

I have a One Piece amv I'm planning on making (I finally found a song I want to use) but I'm gonna wait until a certain event happens in the anime before making it because it's gonna be about the yonkou. I'm writing this update because people keep asking me why I'm dead. I ain't dead, I'm just slow.

If any of my videos are blocked in your country (or any other videos you've been trying to watch) then try viewing the link through croxyproxy. It's a free proxy website that works with YouTube videos, and I have been able to use it without any issues.
Im posting this because apparently one of my own videos is blocked in my country so I thought I'd let people know about a way around that.
