Located in the heart of Shenzhen, in Beacon Hill Park / 笔架山公园 and Lotus Hill Park / 莲花山公园, is this year's biggest flower expo taking place.
Divided between two parks in the middle of Shenzhen, this place is truly amazing. You can walk for hours and still not see everything. It's the perfect place to enjoy the beauty of spring or take some amazing pictures, with or without a model.
The park offers plenty of resting places. Even on the most crowded days, such as Sundays, there is more than enough room to stretch your legs, have a picnic, fly kites, or set up a tent in the shade. They have even added extra toilets for this event, so everything should be covered.
Each park is divided into sections, with over 20 models spread out across them. Every model is carefully designed according to a specific theme and is unique. It's like walking between small worlds and getting pleasantly surprised each time.
The expo started on March 23rd and will end on April 4th, so you should hurry up if you want to catch a glimpse of it. Bring your friends and family and set out for a wonderful day in the sun.

In addition, regular tourists can be seen among the crowd, taking pictures and trying to capture the perfect shot, which might be one of their most challenging quests in life.

The flowers in this area are exceptionally beautiful during this time of the year. You can witness a never-ending pathway of red and purple flowers while making your way to the park. Once inside the park, you can admire the view from three small islands. These islands offer ample space for you to walk around, relax, and enjoy the scenic beauty for an entire day.

What a light show, all the sculptures are so amazing and well-made. And there are so many of them. When you have walked for 30 minutes and are thinking: this has to be it. It keeps coming. The images do not do the sculptures justice. This is a need to watch to fully appreciate it. Did I mention they have a special show after 19.00? A Phenix flying through the air over the main lake.
The Christmas lights we have at home are nothing compared to this. They look small and ugly compared to this.

Ventured through the stunning Avakas Gorge, a masterpiece of nature nestled in Cyprus' Akamas peninsula. Despite the challenging drive on rough roads, the journey was worth every bump! The trail, about 20km from Paphos and part of the Akamas natural reserve, unfolds a canvas of breathtaking colors and dramatic stone formations. Walking amidst vertical slopes rising up to 30 meters, I was surrounded by rich flora, including the rare centauria akamatis, and diverse fauna. It's a moderately challenging hike, approximately 10.6 km long with an elevation gain of 358 meters, but every step offers a new perspective of this spectacular limestone canyon, one of the deepest and narrowest on the island. Remember, though, the path can get slippery and muddy, especially in the rain, and watch out for falling stones! The reward? Unparalleled views and a serene connection with nature.
