in the future - u will be able to do some more stuff here,,,!! like pat catgirl- i mean um yeah... for now u can only see others's posts :c
Just uploaded a behind-the-scenes of my most recent video on Rec Room due to popular demand (from both the comments of the original video and my last community post) :)
Also, I do mention this in the video but I also wanna say it here: This channel is mainly supposed to be revolved around game development, so not only will I very likely not be uploading anything related to Rec Room after this, but I also wanna make much shorter videos (5-7 minutes long) cause that video took a *really* long time to make lol. But I still wanna make video essays, and maybe even devlogs on here

To those who saw my most recent video about Rec Room, would you guys like to see some sort of unscripted "behind-the-scenes" video of the whole thing, notably the intro/outro animations?

So my next video on this channel, which I’ve been working on since July, isn’t going to be entirely related to game development.
I've been playing this one VR social game for nearly 5 years at this point, but as of recently it's gotten so much worse in terms of monetization, moderation, and even the devs' own vision for it, which is what I’m going to be talking about.
This is a really important video to me since I've been wanting to make this for a really long time, so I hope you'll enjoy it :) It should be out by the end of next month

So over the past week, i participated in the Brackeys Game Jam 2024.2 with the theme being "Calm Before the Storm". If you'd like to play my submission, here's the link: theluchenator.itch.io/pack-it-up
Despite me nearly pulling an all-nighter on the last day, i actually had quite a lot of fun making this :)
And sorry i don't have a video for this one. i currently have two other videos in the works (with one being much bigger than the other). maybe next time i'll try to make a devlog

wow unity.com/blog/unity-is-canceling-the-runtime-fee
as big of a W this is, i'm probably still gonna be using UE5 for my games since i enjoy using it quite a bit more. but i'm still gonna be using Unity for smaller stuff like school projects

hi n stuf :D
I'm an aspiring game developer and animator (i love doing both). ive been into game devdevelopment since mid 2021, and animation like 2-3 years prior (my animation skills still kinda suck lol). You can expect to see a bunch of videos related to game dev, like devlogs and video essays. Videos related to anything else will go up on my second channel where I just ramble about whatever.
I usually use Blender as my main 3D modeling/animation software, and Affinity Photo 2 as my 2D art software. I also used to use the Unity game engine for a couple years, but i decided to switch to using Unreal Engine because of the Unity Runtime fee. I'll still use Unity if its absolutely necessary, though.
Anyway, i hope you enjoy my videos :)
