This morning, the first word that came into my mind was hope. I found this scripture and fell in love with it. I have had a "lively hope" in my Savior since 1997 when I joined the church.
What does it mean to have a lively hope?
For me, it means I have hope even when things seem hopeless. It doesn't mean my hope is perfect. Sometimes I complain & feel like giving up. In the end, I know if I turn to the Savior, He will strengthen my hope & help me bear my cross.

π I got a CAR yesterday!!!! It's gorgeous!!! It's a 2013 Grand Jeep Cherokee! It's black with black interior. It's truly a miracle! I won't bore you with the details, but trust me!! I feel like Heavenly Father's favorite! πͺπ

β οΈ Keep the women in your life safe!!!! Please read what JUST happened to me...
I was on a morning run, when I started to head down a street that is part of my routine. This is a beautiful, quiet street. It's secluded from the main road & leads to my neighborhood. I started to make my way down this street, and I noticed a man walking towards me. I had never seen him before. I didn't think anything of it. I was just happily jogging to Lionel Richie... that's when I heard,
"Get off this road!"
I hesitated. Why?
Because he was a black man.
I didn't want to hurt his feelings.
I didn't want him to think I was turning around because he was black. π
Then I heard again,
"Leave this road!"
I immediately turned around & ran back to the main road. I ran with tears in my eyes & was scared to death! After I felt like I was a safe distance from him, I turned & looked behind me. The man was gone. I don't know where he went.
Ladies, please don't be afraid to hurt someone's feelings!!! If the spirit says move, then MOVEβΌοΈ
Gentlemen, protect the women in your life & teach them to be aware of their surroundings.
Another crazy story...
Today is my daughter's birthday. Last year, on her birthday, I left the house to run some errands. Shortly after I left, my daughter had a prompting to pray for my safety. She followed that prompting & I was saved from what could have been a terrible car accident. π π₯

Lately, I've been thinking a lot about the law of chastity & the blessings that come from keeping it.
Make sure you are having these discussions with your children. It might be awkward, but pray & the Lord will guide you! My parents never taught me these things. I learned what not to do from my friends. π¬ Thank heavens that worked for me, but don't expect the same results in your household. Have an honest, open discussion with your kids about sex. I promise the Spirit will guide you. ππΌ

Be mindful of who you communicate with on social media. If you wouldn't do it openly, then don't do it privately. Something that might seem harmless could turn into something dangerous. π₯Ί
The adversary doesn't sleep. He can, & will place harmful thoughts into your mind. Have you ever heard of an emotional affair? They are more common than you think. Please be cautious when reconnecting with old friends.

On a more personal note, I've had a rough week! π₯΄ Can you relate???
1. My mom is struggling with things that I can't fix. It has brought me to tears multiple times. π₯Ί
2. I received a text message from someone at church that caused me a great deal of anxiety & led to more tears. π
3. Then, I had a misunderstanding with a friend... more tears. π€ͺ
4. A sister at church is clearly avoiding me. She's acting completely different & I don't know what I've done. I'm too scared to confront her. π±
Anxiety = Mental illness from hell!

π Here's the good news. My husband is off until July 5th. We are finally going to begin searching for a car for me. π
If you think about it, please say a quick prayer for me. πππΌ I need an affordable, reliable vehicle. I don't even care what it looks like as long as my tiny body can reach the peddles!!!
