Forestry and Rural Development (FODER) is an international non-profit environmental association created in Cameroon in accordance with Declaration n° 76/J10/BAPP of 2 December 2002.
Our objectives include the protection of the environment, the fight against marginalisation linked to natural resources and the improvement of living conditions and environmental policies.
Our vision is a just and sustainable society, and our mission focuses on environmental policy, community rights and biodiversity.
Our areas of intervention include forestry, the environment, mining and agriculture.
ForĂȘts et DĂ©veloppement Rural has been ISO 9001: 2015 certified under the Independent External Observation (IOE) under the name Standardised Independent External Observation System (SNOIE) since 2015.
FODER is based in Yaoundé with regional offices in Cameroon and CÎte d'Ivoire.
