If you want to learn more about the Famous Hatfield and McCoy Feud, come along with us, Fred & Shelia McCoy. You will see actual documents, pictures, and grave sites. We will travel to Pike County Ky and Southern West Virginia to show you all the sites where the feud took place. We explain how the feud really got started and clear up a few things that have been stated.
Fred and I have been married 38 years. We have two children. Fred is kin to both the Hatfield’s and McCoys. He is the son of Bobby and Cora McCoy. The grandson of Phillip and Ella Jane McCoy. The Great grandson of Asa and Nancy (Hatfield) McCoy. Nancy was the daughter of Preacher Anse Hatfield. He is the Great Great grandson of Preacher Anse and Polly Hatfield. Preacher Anse presided over the famous pig trail.
He is also the Great Great grandson of Uriah and Aunt Betty McCoy of Stringtown. Finally, he is the Great Great Nephew of Randall and Sarah McCoy.
