My first EPs as Speedy J are back on vinyl. Intercontinental EP and Rise EP were originally released on +8 in 1991. Special shoutout to John Acquaviva and Richie Hawtin for welcoming me to the family when the label was in it’s infancy. In hindsight these two records portray the early 90’s as a time in which every release could spawn a debate or accidentally even predict an entire new genre. At the same time no one had a clue about what they were doing, including me. There’s a limited red vinyl run, available on my Bandcamp now.
