Lots of Lego Pneumatic Engines, and the occasional diversion into 3D modelling.
Frequently asked questions:
1. What kind of tubing and connectors do you use?
The connectors are branded Festo. The tubing is Festo's 4mm PUN tubing. I have also used PEN, but that is not as good. If the tubing appears very flexible it's not the Festo, but rather r/c model fuel hose. For some engines I use thin black flexible tubing, this is silicone rubber tubing as used by Lego themselves.
2. Are the cylinders/switches modified and how?
Yes they are, the in- and outlets have been drilled out to 2mm, sometimes 2.5. Also, the grease is removed and silicone lube was added instead.
3. What are the part numbers for the pneumatics and the speed computer?
I don't know them off the top of my head either, but a quick search at bricklink will find them for you, together with a nice overview of lovely people who are aching to sell them to you!
4. Where did you buy the parts?
