Alexis Georgopoulos (Arp) is a multi-disciplinary artist, composer, and producer based in New York. Nomadic in style and evolving in ethos, his expanding oeuvre is a statement of multiplicity. A background in ethnomusicology, with an emphasis on non-Western folk traditions and avant-garde electronic music, has formed the basis from which much of his diverse work stems. His work has been released by RVNG Intl, Smalltown Supersound, Mexican Summer, Type, Beats in Space, Emotional Rescue, and Opal Tapes.
