Image of an upcoming video (try and guess what device it is), but first:

I'm going to be real for a sec about the situation my channel is in. After losing my biggest sponsor at the end of last year I've been struggling to support the kind of content I want to make without funding everything out of my own pocket (especially difficult since I just bought a new house so I have significantly less "fun/hobby" money to throw around).

I'll own up to part of this situation being my fault: ie I didn't make popular enough content, didn't appeal to a wide enough audience, etc. The other part though is outside of my control and made much worse due to what I found recently when I logged into youtube studio analytics. A popup at the top of the page notified me that ads are being limited due to "invalid traffic". A quick google search shows many small/medium channels have been hit with this "bug" and are seeing similar huge drops in revenue. Unfortunately there's 0 recourse to fix this and I'm absolutely sure I'm not doing it to begin with (none of my videos are even showing as ad limited). Despite that I'm seeing a quarter of what my normal earnings are within a fairly short period of time and even that's continually dropping. This isn't normal.

So while I can't do anything about it directly, I'll have to think about what changes I can make to help me continue making videos. In the past I've made all design files available for free but I'm now having to consider either charging for them by project or maybe as a subscription/membership sort of thing. I'd like to ask for your opinions/thoughts.

Sorry for the long ramble, I'm just stressed out by this whole situation for a channel I started just for the fun of it.

After about 6 hours of CAD and 14 hours of printing I'm finally seeing my idea come to life. Digits will be nearly 15" tall (largest part just barely fits on an Ender 3 bed, parts puzzle piece snap together)! Now I just need to finish the segments, make the controller pcb and write the software. I'll have a full video on the process once I finish at least one digit. Stay tuned!

... They made an even smaller version of the Samsung YP-MT6 called the YP-T6 (the MT uses a AA while the T uses a AAA battery) ... I couldn't help myself when this one popped up for cheap ... it's so cute

... so I guess that CRT isn't getting a repair video since it already works ... who's up to watch some retro gaming instead?

Just some eye candy for a project that I made ages ago that didn't see the light of day. Anyway I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm not only doing product review videos now to the contrary of the many complaints I've been receiving (in my defense the mass upload of reviews was only to keep content flowing while I was busy with moving to my new house and setting the lab up again). But now that I've made enough progress on the lab to start filming repairs again, I have some retro game console repairs coming up! Just literally waiting for parts to arrive so I can get on with it.

Kinda surprised the 2tb ssd I just bought only has 1 nand chip on it (meaning the entire 2tb is stored on that one chip. The last 2tb m.2 I got has 4 chips (meaning each one is ~512gb).
