The render for Chapter 1 is DONE!
After almost a year* of rendering, I started on 26 November 2023, I finally finished this stage (22.11.24).
*I wasn't rendering every day.
Why so long?
1. Higher quality and more complex image of the second part. The average time for 1 frame was between ~1.30h - 30 min.
2. My job. I can't always prepare a new scene to render in time when the last one is done.
3. The war in Ukraine. Power blackouts for long periods. Especially now, when Russia has started hitting the infrastructure more often.
In total, chapter 1 is about 5 min long and files are ~700 GB so far!
I hope to show you new stuff soon!

I'm thinking of splitting Laniakea 2 into pieces or just creating a sneak peek ~2.30 min. I want to show my work in progress to people and that the work still going on.
This means that the work on new shots will be slowed down a bit. But it will be nice to see progress.
