Hello my sweet friends! I hope you all are having a good week! I wanted to give yāall an update on my husband, thereās good and not so good thatās been happening. This week has been rough, I wonāt lie.
Iāll start with the good news. My husbandās visit with his specialist went well. His numbers are staying where the doctor wants them, so that means no medication increases. Thatās definitely good. He still really struggles with fatigue, brain fog, etc., but we are thankful the numbers look good.
On the other side, one of the meds he takes is causing dental issues and we donāt have dental insurance. That is definitely stressful.
He has been having tremendous arm pain in his right arm and shoulder. Heās literally in pain every day. We saw an orthopedic doctor and she said itās something with his ulnar nerve for one part of it and itās possible he has an issue with his rotator cuff. Surgery may end up being on the table, but first theyāll try some physical therapy. He also apparently has a bone spur on his shoulder that is also contributing to everything.
Heās also going to have to have a nerve test. Sheās concerned his muscle will atrophy in his hand if this is not corrected. She called it an EMG. If youāve ever had one done on your arm, please let me know what to expect.
Itās been a hard week for him and I know heās so tired of being poked and prodded. It really has seemed to be just one thing after another for him for a while now. I know he is discouraged.
I just wanted to give yāall an update and thank yāall so much for so many kind words and prayers. It really means so much to us. I love you all and just want to send hugs to you all for being so supportive and caring. We really appreciate it so much. I know God is with us and weāll get through it, but itās been a lot.

Today was a fun day! Itās my birthday and I wanted to go to Nashville to go to Trader Joeās and HomeGoods. I decided a bit last minute to go to Whole Foods as well. I havenāt been there in probably a decade or more. I found a few good deals, but mostly it was a bit pricey.
However, they had the most amazing bakery! So many pretty and yummy looking things. This cupcake captured my eye and I had to get it. It was honestly the prettiest cupcake Iāve ever seen. It was only $4.25, which for such a pretty cupcake and a good size too, I felt it was reasonable. Itās almost too pretty to eat!

Update on my son: we met with the hematologist on Wednesday. He feels it is the same blood cancer my husband has, but heās running various tests to make sure. I appreciate yāall praying for us so much. This has been hard. Weāll probably know more in a couple of weeks.

Update on my son: First, I want to thank you all so much for your prayers. We appreciate it so much. The cardiologist appointment went well. They did an echo and that looked good. They did have him wear an event monitor and it will be a bit before we get that back. Very thankful that his echo looked good though. He has an appointment with the hematologist this week and also a neurologist. The neurologist is a follow up from an issue when he was younger. They felt it was best to go ahead and follow up with that now. Hopefully we get some answers on why his bloodwork looked so off. Thank you all again! ā¤ļø hope you all have a blessed Easter! Hi, friends! I want to thank you all for all the support on my latest video. Iām sorry I havenāt answered any comments yet, but life threw us a curveball last week. My son (18) had bloodwork and an ECG that came back not so good. I have been trying to get appointments set up for him and request referrals and make sure those are in place for his appointments. We meet with a cardiologist tomorrow. I have no idea whatās wrong yet, but definitely would appreciate your prayers. Honestly his bloodwork looked very similar to my husbandās when he was diagnosed with blood cancer, but there was one number that was different that makes me think itās something else. I just hope we get answers soon and that itās some simple to fix. Love you all and thank you again! ā¤ļø
