Channel Updates for 1/27/25:
Fares have resumed on LA Metro & Pasadena Transit as of today, and Big Blue Bus resumed fares on January 21st. LADOT has postponed fare resumption from January 11th to February 1st (fares will continue to be free on DASH Sylmar after this date).

I have done the first official trip of the year this past weekend, featuring buses in the San Fernando Valley, taking advantage of the free fares that were offered during the SoCal Wildfires, so new content coming soon. The channel has been renewed for the 16th season, set to begin on March 9th. Many of the videos for the new season are videos originally set to be released during the 15th Season until they were pushed back, due to Day of the 851.

Day of the 851 continues with more outside content this week, and is expected to last until February 4th. Following the event will be the Mini-Series of Day of the 852. Requests will be accepted beginning February 5th.

Free Rides will be offered on Transit Equity Day on February 4th to honor Rosa Parks. Metro, OCTA, Big Blue Bus, and all transit agencies in San Bernardino County will be offering free rides, INCLUDING Metrolink.

Floatfest Shuttle content begins February 17th, and will last until February 28th. Be aware that shuttle content is not featured on weekends, as I still have many leftovers from August 2024 that will be featured.

NEW FULL RIDE ALONG ANNOUNCEMENT: LACMTA Line 158 WB

Have a nice day!!!

Channel Updates for 1/11/25:
Due to the wildfires around SoCal from a major windstorm this past week, evacuation orders and warnings were issued. As of today, several evacuation orders have either downgraded or have been lifted (expired).

Metro is offering free rides for the weekend, due to the wildfires, especially for areas within Palisades. Detours are also in effect, and A Line is suspended between Southwest Museum & Fillmore.

Floatfest Shuttle content begins February 17th, and lasts through the 28th. It will be a special one, as "Day of the Floatfest," but on weekdays for shuttle coverage. Compilation video begins first on February 17th.

Volume 3 of Day of the 851 has started January 5th, and now lasts until February 4th. During this time, all requests are not being accepted until it has been concluded. Following the event will be the Mini-Series of Day of the 852.

Have a nice weekend, and be safe out there during this difficult time during the wildfires. Evacuate when possible.

The channel is also on a Sunday schedule for New Year's Day on January 1st.

Channel Updates for 12/9/24:
Service changes for the channel, and social media are now in effect. The new changes includes a new early start for Sunday schedules on YouTube, as well as revised schedules for the transit page on Instagram. To comply with the service change, the banners on both YouTube and Google Site have been updated.

As the backlog is very large, due to the recent Day of the 851 and holiday content, expect a lot of content to be delayed by several months. Tech content is still limited due to several trips that I made.

I have went to CicLAvia The Valley yesterday, so I'll have bus content from before and after CicLAvia coming soon. Event coverage will be out this week on Instagram.

NEW FULL RIDE ALONG ANNOUNCEMENT: Foothill Transit Line 292 SB

Metro will have service changes beginning this Sunday. During this week, all Metro Buses will display "NEW SCHEDULES THIS SUNDAY" until December 15th.

I'm also preparing for the Floatfest Shuttle Trip on January 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. The Park & Ride locations are the same as the 2024 Floatfest with the addition of a third day. Last bus on January 3rd from Floatfest departs at 4:30 PM. Compilation video will be in the works, and will be a big one. For the 2025 Floatfest content, it will be expanded with more ride along videos, and will become "Day of the Floatfest" for that year.

Have a nice day!!!
