I’m active as an Ikebana artist. I’ve been studying Ikebana for more than 30 years. Fortunately, I’m arranging Ikebana on movies, TV dramas, Commercials and events. But I’m always nervous on these scenes. After my job, I bring back all leftover flowers. Then I arrange them freely. I feel so happy and reconfirm the power of flower on each time.
Here I show the movies how you can enjoy Ikebana at home easily!
Anyone can do Ikebana and anyone can enjoy creating!
Ikebana is a powerful means of self-expression, and it develops our ability to see in new ways.
My most favorite words:
"Flowers, when set in Ikebana, cease to be just flowers. Flowers become human in Ikebana. That makes Ikebana interesting and difficult." by Sofu Teshigahara, the first President of Sogetsu School.
