Raiven is a musical alchemist, masterfully fusing the realms of pop and opera. Showcasing her artistic versatility, she thrives as a mezzo-soprano singer, author, songwriter, and harpist.
She debuted in the Electro Pop scene in 2014, and in 2017 released her debut album "Magenta." Her musical evolution was highlighted by her performances at the EMA (Slovenian Eurovision Selection) with the songs "Črno bel," "Zažarim," and "KAOS." In 2021, she won the renowned Slovenian music festival, Popevka, with her song "Volkovi." After exploring the electro-opera genre with the release of the single "Habanera," Raiven pursued her journey to uncover stories of iconic women from various historical eras on the EP "Sirene pt. 1," with her Eurovision song "Veronika" taking center stage as the principal protagonist. And as a homage to her Eurovision family, she reinvented the archetype of the most iconic woman of them all: "Mama."
