I am in a Gardening Group and a member shared this last week. It is a sunflower, waiting to open. She was speculating on what it would look like when it bloomed. So much excitement!
I can’t say that I am always in a state of excitement when waiting. Waiting, for me, can be hard. Waiting can be anxiety producing. Worry driven. I TRY to lean on my faith, knowing that God is in control. I have faced enough trials to know that He has never forsaken me. He is always there, taking care of the outcome.
God is also in the waiting.
This picture made me appreciate the beauty in the waiting. No matter what this sunflower looks like when it blooms, it is beautiful in THIS moment. And there is much to learn in the waiting.
