Hello everyone! I'm at the lake observing the eagles and the area so that I have a better understanding of what our beloved eagles enjoy daily. So far, I can say they soar every day patrolling their area. They fly from end to end of their land mass/area. We have not observed them fishing or hunting. Kayaking is the best way to observe both nests. More later!!! Stay tuned!!! (wink)

As some of you may know, there have been significant changes in the KNF with our eagles. I will continue to upload videos in the order I captured them. There will be some older videos uploaded. It is with the greatest of sadness that I must report that Andria is gone. She was found lifeless on the ground below the nest tree. Once a toxicology report is given, we will know the cause of death. My heart is broken but as my Grandmother use to say, "time heals everything"! I'll update when I can. Rhonda

There are two eggs that Alex and Andria are incubating. We will start pip watch around Christmas Eve. While I have time, I will be uploading a few more videos of the pair bonding and building up the nest. Have a great day!! Rhonda

Alex and Andria have been away from the nest for a few days. We can hear them nearby, but they've decided to enjoy the lake more than the nest. This isn't surprising since they will need to stay at the nest for quite some time before long. More to come!!
