Happy Friday y'all! No upload this week or next week. Aside from recognizing that I'll need to redo some old stuff to stay consistent, I also realized I probably should plan rest blocks that make sense for my upload cadence. So I'll be rounding out every 2-month period with 2 weeks away from uploading, moving forward. Hopefully the algo doesn't punish me too much for it. But rebuilding is already atrociously hard right now. So I think the planned time off is probably worth it.

This Friday, we got an oldie. An OLDIE oldie. I've noticed comments requesting lyrics on a lot of the old drops. Thought I'd oblige.
Explanation time: the reason I'm doing reups of older songs on weeks that I am not releasing new music is two-fold:
1. After releasing consistent weekly drops from late 2020 through early 2022, I realized weekly drops weren't sustainable for me with my performance schedule and other professional obligations. I figured out a plan in 2023 but realized I was burned out, which I've mentioned on here before.
2. The Rhythm of VP Gore thinks nobody is interested in my page. I don't have enough consistency in engagement to get away with bi-weekly uploads or uploading whenever it makes the most sense to me. So these are least fill the time with better visuals for things I know plenty of y'all think are slappers already.
So bare with me on these, and please show them love as you can. Thanks a ton for your continued support π€

This year I questioned whether YouTube drops still needed to be a part of my plan. I questioned everything about my journey, really. Burnout recovery led to me throwing everything up and examining it.
But I'm glad to say that I'll be releasing plenty of new tunes, as well as updated visuals for some great older ones, over the coming weeks and months

Good news: Last night, I played the biggest single day production that happens in Kansas City Annually (Plaza Lighting Ceremony), and the low end estimate of attendance was that just under 100k people pulled up. Crazy
Bad News: No upload today. Bc of rehearsals and needing to learn a lot of new music for shows I played this week (and am playing tomorrow), I couldn't get this week's intended drop to the desired level of quality. Algo really doesn't do us any favors in December, so I'm gonna take a break and prep some stuff. I'll be back to uploads in 2023
More Good News: I'll be adding some shorts of live performance clips and other things in the meantime.
