The Mechatronic and Robotic Systems (MARS) Laboratory at Ontario Tech University performs research into mechatronics, robotics and automation, and optimal design. In particular the lab focuses on the application of advanced kinematics for the control of redundant manipulator systems including joint redundant arms, redundantly-actuated parallel manipulators, and mobile-manipulator systems. The Director of the MARS Laboratory is Professor Scott Nokleby.
