Top o’ the morning, folks! 🍀 The Travelling Leprechauns recently landed in Manchester and stayed at the infamous Britannia Hotel. At £60 a night for an “executive room,” we were hoping for a pot o’ gold—but it turns out, not all that glitters is gold!

🚪 Room & Decor:
Think carpets that have seen more ceilidhs than they should and a Victorian-meets-1980s vibe that’s more “retro blast” than modern luxury. While some might find it quirky, it left us scratching our leprechaun heads.

✨ The Bonus:
What the Britannia lacks in style, it makes up for in location! Smack in the middle of Manchester City Centre, it’s a prime spot surrounded by the city’s incredible restaurants, pubs, and bars.

Manchester after dark is a treasure in itself! Whether it’s the buzzing bars of the Northern Quarter, the craic at Deansgate Locks, or the welcoming vibes of Canal Street, there’s something for everyone. Don’t miss Chinatown for late-night bites—it’s the perfect end to a fun-filled night! 🍺

📊 Our Verdict:
The Britannia gets a 6.5/10 from us. While the rooms could use a serious upgrade, the unbeatable location makes it a good option for budget travelers who want to explore Manchester’s nightlife.
