I am Avinash Upadhyay. All my life, I have been a storyteller.
I visited the jungles for the first time in the late 1900s. My affair with photography started in the year 2001. At least three of my images got "Photo of the Day" by National Geographic.
My curiosity about the forest guards and their lives provoked me to approach the Kanha Tiger Reserve field director to seek permission to visit the guards. Soon, this collected knowledge started growing into a book, 80% of which I have already written. However, I met with a grievous accident that resulted in a severe head injury. I took a few months to recover, but probably
this injury and its treatment, led to a paralytic stroke.
However, my desire for expression has a life of its own. Since my hands don't work on the keyboard as well as they should, I am choosing YouTube to tell you stories about the forest. These stories are very faithfully factual. I hope they will engage you and will be liked by you.
