A Chicago native, NYLO, has been endorsed by NAS, featured on records by ZHU, G-Eazy, and Mac Miller, as well as co-written records for OVO artist Majid Jordan. She has collaborated with the likes of multi-platinum producers Tricky Stewart, Soundz, and Fisticuffs. Extensively involved in all areas of her own artistic expression, from designing her own album art to producing her own records, she has mastered the intersection of underground alternative music and urban pop. As one of the early females fronting the down-tempo R&B movement back in 2012, during one of popular music’s most sugary, dance, EDM phases yet, after a few years hiatus it seems as though she may be moving away from her own roots to surprise us again.
