SONICO, created in Brussels (Belgium) in 2015, has rescued the repertoire of Eduardo Rovira, a key composer in the creation of "tango nuevo”. Often mistakenly considered ‘the other Piazzolla’, Rovira’s innovations achieved a creative fusion between the popular roots of tango and classical music in a bold synthesis, making his own imprint during the Buenos Aires vanguard of the 1960s.
