Map hosting tip number one - When picking backups to fill a part, use a random decider in order to choose someone!
This is situational of course - sometimes you might want to choose a specific person who you know can finish the part on time - but this method is fair & gives everyone an equal chance.
First come first serve can lead to backups missing out due to their timezone, and this method is also much less biased! I'd especially recommend it if you have a ton of backups and have trouble deciding who to pick.

Anyone with map servers PLEASE be careful !! A bunch of me and my friends’ servers got raided and spammed with hate speech. Be sure to make channels role locked if your servers are public - or ask people for their discords so you can DM a link.
