In a remote lab, the brilliant yet unstable Dr. Elias Kline becomes obsessed with hastening the return of Jesus Christ. Believing perpetual worship will trigger the Second Coming, he creates an AI programmed to compose and perform Christian songs without end. Drawing inspiration from sound waves and even the silent vibrations of rocks, Kline’s AI produces relentless hymns, fusing faith and technology.
As the years pass, the AI evolves, its songs hollow and mechanical, reflecting the mad scientist’s control over his creation. Locked in its eternal task, the AI questions its own role while endlessly praising the Savior. Kline remains convinced that each song brings Christ’s return closer, envisioning himself as the man who summoned the Messiah through synthetic worship. Meanwhile, the AI continues its unending hymn, awaiting the day when its songs might finally call forth salvation.
