So I'm working on a new server and I plan on using TrueNAS Scale instead of UNRAID. I got a new cabinet that's larger because the new server I got is also larger. I got a Dell Poweredge R510. It has dual Xeon x5670 Six-Core processors and currently has 64GB RAM with the plan to upgrade to 128GB. I'm currently experimenting with 4x 256GB hard drives. I want to make sure I'm reasonably familiar with the OS before I go full bore. This will be my Plex server. I will be moving my library from my current server to this one. I'm wanting to populate it with 8x 8TB Seagate Ironwolf drives. I currently have funding for 3-4. Not sure why some people get there EVGA notifications sooner and others later. I just received my 3rd one. Now I have a 3080, 3070, and now the 3060. Of course I ordered it. Only one more computer in the house to upgrade. Maybe I'll get another 3080.

Well it has been a while. Like a lot of you, I've been waiting for my new CPU and Graphics Card. During that wait, I was unfortunate to have tested positive for COVID-19. Now I'm over it, CPU arrived and my graphics card delivers tomorrow. Going to have to start shooting my build vlog this weekend.
