If I had never joined the PPC I probably would have never tumbled down this rabbit hole to begin with.. and that means never connecting with great friends and the inspiring people that I have today.
I agree with many of the criticisms lofted at Max and the PPC but what other vehicle is there that's positioned to cause direct pain to Poilievre and influence the conversation?

Only reason I bring this up is I see a lot of wholesale dismissal of the PPC (mostly by CPC gatekeepers) and I think it's misguided. It discourages people from getting involved in politics and getting their hands dirty. It discourages concerned Canadians from collectivizing against the Ottawa establishment.
This attitude of "Don't support something unless it's perfect" results in more inaction and hesitation.
By joining the PPC and making mistakes, I learned. I failed and failed again. It initiated me with a harsh dose of what it's really gonna take to turn this place around.
I just find it infuriating to see CPC influencers bitch online about the state of the country while simultaneously discouraging Canadians from connecting with an accessible gateway like the PPC.
This is the essence of the solution they're pushing:
❌don't meet like minded ppl IRL
❌don't get off the couch
✅Just get mad online
The PPC isn't perfect but at least you get an opportunity to connect with like minded Canadians who want to accomplish something and take action.

I'm looking around on my Twitter feed today and get the impression that a lot of people were literally born yesterday.
It's really annoying that virtually no one in Canada sees how atrocity propaganda is currently being used to get Canadians to support Israel bombing Iran which would have catastrophic events globally - potentially starting WW3.

> Global supply chain disruption
> Who knows what comes next with on going conflicts in Ukraine and Taiwan
Yes watching a Canadian flag get destroyed at a protest is obviously upsetting but is everyone in this country that naive to not see how this connects to the bigger picture?
Are we that afflicted with the low impulse control twitter rage bait brain that we don't see how we might be positioning ourselves to be fully in support of all out War in the Middle East?
And this is coming from someone who definitely welcomes the growing anti-immigrant sentiment that is finally becoming more popular in Canada.
It's just clear that in this case, being a proud patriot who's outraged by the desecration of the Canadian flag is conveniently aligned with pushing a 100% uncritical position on Israel's foreign policy.
Is no one else noticing this?
Or has everyone bought into the IDF Likud party propaganda that all Muslims are uncivilized beasts who must be eradicated?
Normally I wouldn't care if a war didn't affect me overseas but this widespread attitude of being wholly uncritical of the ambitions of Israel's military and adopting their exact IDF world view is straight up creepy.
It implies that you support the looming escalation that would likely be supported by the US military which would have terrible outcomes for both Canada and the USA.
Here's what Canada would get:
> Disrupted supply chains
> All Gas & Goods more expensive
> More refugees 👈 (angry Muslims btw)
> More crisis for politicians to push more tyrannical legislation
> More chaos and divide & conquer policy to make it easier for corrupt bureaucrats to reign over us
> Dissolving what's left of our military
Remember when the Mainstream news and politicians used to brand Canada as the 'peacekeeper' country? Lmao anyway.
It's just hilarious that politicians who have contributed to demoralizing real patriotic Canadians for years by refusing to fight against the desecration of or our iconography, institutions and history are now SUDDENLY all about standing up for Canadian patriotism when its time to get Canada's full support for Israel bombing Iran. Convenient!
Despite everything that's happened since COVID and the convoy, Right Wingers are now somehow oblivious to the possibility of high level corruption that would only enrich massive arms dealers and benefit the foreign special interests that have literally been proven to be meddling in our very Houses of Parliament for years.
Crazy lack of self awareness.
All of their faces are covered and we got +20 different angles of the flag being destroyed. Cool!

Meanwhile more and more ungrateful people with foreign allegiances take advantage of our nice/naive attitude, trample on our rights and destroy our way of life.
