For only $475, donors fund a well serving an entire village, approximately 125 people. Wells are built in partnership with the village - they provide the labor, the bricks, sand & gravel, giving them ownership of the project. The wells are simple, appropriate technology; it is a well they can maintain without outside assistance. Functionality surveys show that 89% are still functioning, even decades later.
