Logged into the Thermonuclear Gaming account on X yesterday to find it was permanently banned. I have only ever shared my videos and followed Star Citizen streamers and some retro gamers/modders.
I will say, I woke up early Sunday to watch the Starship launch and was watching the YouTube stream from SpaceX. It ended up being spam/scam with AI generated content with Elon pushing crypto currency.
I reported it to YouTube and they actually responded and took the video down (must have been thousands of people who did the same as myself). I watched the SpaceX livestream on X as that is where the real stream was.
A few hours later my X account was banned.
I know coincidences happen, but I find it extremely strange that I report an Elon crypto scam on YouTube and get banned on X. Makes you wonder if he really is peddling scams. I wonder how many other accounts were banned.
P.S. I received no email from X, no cause for the ban, just that I can file to appeal it. I have decided that the best course of action is to not use X for a platform.
