A quintessential progressive rock band formed 40 years ago, British power-trio Emerson, Lake & Palmer played hundreds of live concerts mainly in North America, Western Europe and Japan between 1970 and 1978. After a 14-year hiatus and a brief stint as ELPowell during the mid-80s along with drummer Cozy Powell in place of Carl Palmer, the original band reunited in 1992. For the following six years ELP again toured extensively around the world, this time adding places where they had never played before, such as South America, Central America and Eastern Europe.
This site brings back those brilliant moments ELP gave to the audiences during the 90s. For the people who were there at the concerts these videos will prompt fond memories. Those who have never seen the band perform will have the chance to see and feel their particular chemistry in full action.
From Argentina, this is my humble tribute to a favorite band I haven't seen live yet. This is then my "Creole Dance" to Emerson, Lake & Palmer.
