Hailing from India, the earliest dream that I held as a child was to come to Canada and explore the world. Like many of you, I went to an "astrologer" and he told me to wear a Rahu Stone. I blindly agreed and applied for a VISA - spending lakhs of rupees in the process, along with sleepless nights and days filled with anticipation. Then, the letter arrived.

My application had been rejected.

I felt cheated! I ended up making it to Canada a few years later, but I labelled astrology as fake and astrologers as even faker. But something didn't feel right...I questioned whether it was astrology that was flawed or the so-called modern astrologers?
