Hey y'all!!! β¨ How are things growing?! π±
The greenhouse is quickly filling up with all the things! It's been late nights planning and planting seeds all in preparation for this upcoming season! I'm so excited! β¨ I got a feeling that it's gonna be a good one!
Cool weather flowers are looking amazing! (Totally worth all those late nights preparing trays of soil blocks and planting seeds) I've started some warm weather flowers this week as well! Including zinnias cosmos and celosia! I also as you can see from the pictures pretty sprouted some bulbs inside of a clear lid I had and y'all is so cool I cannot wait for you to see it!
I am right in the middle of editing a video for you I know it's been way too long but believe me I am over here doing all things Garden!!!

Hey Yall!!!! I'm so excited to share this herb with you in today's video! I was so surprised by the full list of medical uses! And on top of that.... it's ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL !!! I feel like every week, as I learn the different benefits of the herbs, we are growing and harvesting.... something different becomes my new favorite!!! Hahaha

Storm Update:
For those of you who have reached out with sincere hopes that have braved the storm, and are safe and sound. Thank you π«ΆπΎ
We have been without power for about 19 hours now .... Last night we were riddled with tornado πͺοΈ warnings throughout the entire night (π₯΄π΄)And yet we have had everything that we have needed! We don't have a generator (I'd say it's time to look into getting one, if you have a favorite please let us know what you use down ππΎ below!) but y'all know we thrive off of ingenuity so our day has been enjoyable in spite of the current challenges!
We spent the bulk of the day, in the garden! We took a wonderful family bike ride .... And we end our night by candle light π―οΈ. It was a nice(forced) day of an abundance of vitamin D for us all π. If you were in the path of the storm, I hope you too have been well today and that you rest a little easier (and more deeply) tonight π«ΆπΎ

βοΈWhile a tropical storm is heading our way.... I took advantage of the cooler temps, cloud cover and minimal mosquitoes to do some much needed garden tasks! We picked our largest basket of pears to date! Can you guess how many pounds we picked?! Altogether (with our two other baskets picked this season), our total number of pears from our two trees this season will be over 30 lbs! I didn't expect that from such small trees! SUCH a surprise!

OAN: Aren't these ceramic earrings absolutely beautiful! Fern and Vine Pottery gave me a one on one lesson and I made these beauties! I'm hoping Thomas will be able to mimic this design in wood!

An introduction is long overdue.
My name is Taqueshia π«ΆπΎ
My husband's name is Thomas and together we've been blessed with four beautiful children β€οΈ and we are from SC zone 8b β¨
I started gardening 3 years ago and in that time, not only has our garden grown from a 300 foot space into a 3,000 sq ft space but along the way I went from just gardening to becoming a gardener. (β¨the difference isn't defined by skill but by mindset β¨)
In the doing, I fell in love with the process of growth. There is so much in-sight found within the process of gardening. It's a work that is filled with consistency, and endurance.
Gardening is only a small part of the journey we call Our Freedom Song.
Our Freedom Song is the journey of
"A hope to be at liberty".
Free to inspire
Free to dream
Free to Grow
Free to learn
Free to live
Free to try.....and try again.
And while we are living out this hope, it is our desire to encourage as many hearts as possible along the way!
