Balista lures began in 2008 from the idea of housing a flashing light inside a fishing lure. We spent years researching and refining the technology in the labs. After creating the technology thousands of hours were spent and continue to this day into developing lures.
Every lure contains a flashing red LED in the tail, the light is water activated and lasts for approximately 200 hours. The technology has been proven to increase strike rates, especially in dirty water, dawn/dusk, overcast conditions, after dark and when fished at depth.
