Some of you may already be aware of this if you are subscribed to transcription channels much larger than mine, but Musicnotes, the website I am partnered with to sell sheet music, is no longer allowed to sell unofficial Nintendo sheets per Nintendo's request. Websites like Musescore, NinSheetMusic, VGMLeadSheets, Ichigos, Riulyn, etc. are currently not affected to my knowledge, so you can still largely get sheets for most popular Nintendo games from like 1980-2010.
This has wiped a lot of sheets from the internet, but I still have my copies and I assume other affected content creators have theirs as well. I am going to continue to transcribe VGM without altering my song choices, but I might try and dip into more obscure soundtracks from games I've played. I will continue to prepare sheets in the event that this decision from Nintendo is reversed. Any sheet links in new videos or reuploads will not work but will be included in case Nintendo sheets are allowed again.
For anyone who may be uncertain of what is affected by this: I'm pretty sure this only affects games published b Nintendo, not games on Nintendo hardware. Soundtracks like Final Fantasy and other Square Enix series are fine. Sonic games, ATLUS games, etc. are all fine. Banjo-Kazooie is gone but I was under the assumption that the soundtrack might have been under Microsoft; I guess not.

Yesterday I finished updating/reuploading my videos for Super Mario Bros. 1, all of which being set to release this year (including the ones I didn’t release before). I haven’t updated my Google Sites schedule with this info yet, but basically, 2024 is pretty packed and set for the rest of the year. I’ll be working from here on out on preparing for 2025!
(I’ve been downloading a bunch of rips so I hope I actually transcribe them.)

Thanks to all of you, I have reached 10,000 subscribers recently and I could not be more grateful. I hope I have been providing entertaining content for you all and that you've found my channel as a good resource for whatever you enjoy about this hobby of mine. It's been a long time since I started doing this for fun and I plan on transcribing VGM for much longer.
(I've missed some uploads in my upload schedule and I'll try to have those out soon!)

I would like to proudly declare that I am fully prepared for uploads for 2024 thanks to still having to fix/reupload old stuff. To accommodate a chunk of the uploads being previous songs I've worked on, I will also sprinkle in other stuff to fill the schedule in more than usual.
I am also going to try and follow some set goals for myself next year and am going to use December to get a head start on it. I'll try to update the progress charts for these goals on my website every month or so. Please enjoy the final uploads of this year and I hope I'm transcribing stuff at least some of you like!

I recently counted the amount of games I haven't transcribed a single song of yet and I got to a very large number... just from A-D alphabetically. I came to realize that that would be a lot of playlists - and that I don't really need to make as many playlists as I do right now.
I will be slowly combining playlists over time to save viewer hassle and clutter around the channel. Some examples of changes would be moving all of Super Mario Bros. 1-3 into one playlist, Castlevania I-III in one playlist, all of Homestuck, etc. When I get around to working on StarTropics II it will be combined with the playlist for the original StarTropics as there is no need to separate them.

Happy pride month! I hope you all have a nice time and have a lot of fun. It's been a long time since I've made a community post and that's just because I haven't been in the right mental space to work on music since like February. Fortunately there's been such a big block of unreleased stuff that nothing about the upload rate was affected. Because I was going to upload Dr. Mario this month and haven't done any of it, I don't currently have things scheduled for June; I'll try to move some stuff around to fill in the month and work on Dr. Mario so it releases soon.
I'll be trying to wrap up about two or three playlists this month as well, and reuploads will continue again. I have decided it would be best analytically to let reuploads into your sub box, so expect to see some older transcriptions reappear in the new format alongside recent transcriptions.

I think I managed to get a lot done in October! Castlevania 1’s high quality rips are finished re-releasing and the OST will be done in a few days. I’m getting kind of close to being done with reuploading DELTARUNE Chapter 1 and after that will definitely be more MOTHER series work. I’m also looking to prioritize reuploading Megami Tensei 1, Kirby’s Adventure, and Super Mario Bros. / Deluxe since those are (mostly) finished and prepared sets to work on.
I’ve added a release schedule to my Google Sites website (the link to the site is in every new style video) and you’ll be able to see what’s releasing and re-releasing that way if you don’t like the anticipation. I’m not sure how I want a request system to go yet but it’ll be figured out someday.
My playlists are sorted on my channel based on whether they’re finished or not, but that category is approaching nearly 200 playlists so I’m going to split it into A-M and N-# sometime soon. That’s not super important but I may as well mention it.
Finally, I have taken last month’s poll results into account and have developed a grand total of… 2 HQR transcriptions for DELTARUNE Chapter 1. I’m aiming for at least 20 or so new ones for Q1 2023 so the total is or is close to 30; that seems like a good number to be at.
For this month’s poll, I’ve got a question that will affect Q2 2023 (April-June). Below are five soundtracks that are pretty quick - I’ve either started them already or they can be completed very quickly. Choose whichever one you think should be done and released by June of 2023 and I will try to do that.

Lots of stuff has progressed since my last update post (August)! First, as some of you may have noticed, the entire MOTHER soundtrack has been reuploaded with the new visual format and is now also completely free of those audio hiccups my old stuff used to have. I will work on getting the MOTHER 1 rips up to speed as well before doing a huge burst of reuploading MOTHER 2, but I also plan to give this treatment to Pokémon RBY, StarTropics, and Castlevania by the end of this year, I hope.
I have gotten a hold of the eight songs on the DELTARUNE website and plan to transcribe those as a specil little bonus set of transcriptions. My main goal for transcribing in the last three months of the year will be to have a focus on Kirby's Dream Land 3, OMORI, and DELTARUNE. I am severely behind in OMORI work compared to a very talented rival here on YouTube.
The fact that I have missed this year's Jetsons post will haunt me but I think I'm going to try to make up for it next year. However, I've got two nice songs planned for October 11th that may or may not please a very niche set of people.
For this month's poll, I would like feedback on something else. As I've been reuploading videos this year I've noticed how little I have been transcribing high quality rips and am looking to continue doing so at a regular pace again. I'll make five categories of games that you can vote for and the winner will get a boost of rip transcriptions in the first quarter of 2023. Sorry for the limitations of this poll; on the bright side, the rips that get transcribed will no longer be in the pool in the future!

I transcribe music and create sheets for Musicnotes. I do a lot of very dumb things so let me know if you want something done and I might be able to do it. I kind of just do what I feel like doing or do what I think would be good for the channel/good to make. I cannot guarantee I will do your request.
