What a day! What I thought would be a morning job turned into an all-day affair.
Started to put together my new-to-me table saw to find out I didn't have all the nuts and bolts ... trip to the hardware store.
Then, once back on the task, I realized how dark it was in the shop. I thought some new fluorescent tube bulbs were in order ... trip to the hardware store.
Put in new bulbs, and it didn't help; they wouldn't light up all the way. That means a ballast issue. I'm not gonna replace those, especially since Harbor Freight has a sale on new LED shop lights ... trip to the hardware store.
Okay, finally get the table saw put together. Now to put together the mobile base for it. There weren't any directions. Not too bad since it seemed simple enough. Put together, and the casters are all floppy ... seek advice from maker friends. Advise implemented, and it works. Even though I had hoped to also get started cleaning the rust off the table saw, it was still a productive - though long - day. New, bright shop lights and a functioning table saw to show for it.

It's a mess but I know everything will fit. Next step, get the tablesaw back in running order.

I decided to go with this smaller room that was off of the larger hall to use as the new shop. There were a lot less things to clean out.

My new resin printing setup.
There's seems to be a lot more required stuff than simple filament printing. I hope the extra detail will be worth it.

Jesus was a carpenter, right? So monks can be carpenters too.
Inspiration can come from just about anywhere, and that is the purpose of this channel. To take ideas from where ever they are found, making it your own, and building something beautiful. I encourage you to join me in these little woodworking experiments from inspiration to completion. Who knows, we both might learn something.
